The Paper Lantern was introduced as part of the Beauty and the Beast (Night Fall) storyline on January 30, 2014 and is provided as reward for each star mastery obtained from the Night Fall specific scenes. The Paper Lantern was also used as a component to craft quest items as part of the Tangled (Night Fall) storyline added on February 20, 2014 and will probably continue to be an important component in crafting quest items for future Night Fall storylines.
